Sanson is a small town located just south of Bulls and the Rangitikei River, and west of the city of Palmerston North. It lies at the junction of State Highway 1 and 3. The well known market is held every Sunday at the Junction Hotel Car Park. The playground and public toilets are convenient for travelers and there are some nice places to stop for food and refreshments. A number of craft & gift shops are great to explore.
