This Woodville Organ Museum is founded and run by Milton and Rosalie Wainwright, a retired couple who love organs and the sacred music that they produce.
The Organ Museum is in a large building that was formerly the Woodville N.Z. Catholic Church hall. It was remodeled to house the Wainwrights as well as their collection of 100+ organs. Age goes back as far as the 1860s.
They welcome visitors any time but make appointments for groups to come through. There is no door charge, but there is a donation box, and any size donations are much appreciated.
