The Mangatera Hotel Dannevirke has 9 rooms available 7 days a week. With an easy stroll down the hall way to the restaurant and the Sports or Lounge Bar. A fully fenced grass area is available for the kids to play around. We also cater for the overnight business trip with late check in times. We wont have any one going hungry here at the Manga; so if you let us know you are going to be late we will even save a meal for you.
Our rates are very competitive starting at just $70 a night for a basic room (no en-suite).

Our Restaurant & Bar
You’ll want for nothing at the Mangatera when it comes to food with a full restaurant menu to choose from or join us in the bar for a counter round if that’s more your style.
Here at the Mangatera Hotel we offer a family style fully licensed restaurant were you can relax with the family or some friends. We have a bursting menu with something to please every one, Sirloin steak for the hard working man through to the Kiwi Classic fish and chips with lots of yummy other dishes in between. We have a menu just for the little folk as well. Then of course what’s a meal out for, if not to finish it with a delicious dessert. Warm apple cinnamon cake, raspberry chocolate brownie and banana fritters are just some of what we have to cure the sweet tooth.
Just looking for a quick bight to eat and drink? No Problem, our Bar Meals and Snacks are exactly what your after. With so many options to choose from we know you will find something appetizing. Steak Sandwiches, Fish Burgers, Pizza’s and Nachos just the start. Our Bar Meals are available in the Sports Bar and Lounge Bar or if its a sunny day why not have your meal in the Manga Beer Garden and soak up the beautiful weather.
