The Dutch Oven Cafe & Bakery, situated in Foxton just off SH1, has a great selection of both menu and cabinet food available, including some Dutch favourites! We have a range of hot drinks, milkshakes, smoothies and fridge drinks available. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating available. We bake and sell a range of breads using flour milled in our De Molen Windmill.
Our kitchen closes at 2.30pm daily – cabinet food is still available however until we close at 3.30pm.
Why not stop off on your way to or from Wellington and take a break in town. You may even be fortunate to experience the Foxton Horse Tram. Of course no visit to Foxton is complete without viewing the De Molen Dutch Windmill which still mills flour using millstones in the traditional manner.
